Aurora PhotoCenter, in partnership with Gallery 924, presents Is Everyday Extraordinary? A Photography Show, an exhibition that celebrates photography’s power to extract the extraordinary from everyday moments. Sampling widely from work that addresses the theme, the exhibition includes a range of images that showcase local photographers working in portraiture, landscape, conceptual, and documentary photography.
Is Everyday Extraordinary? A Photography Show features work by the following participating artists: Mike Allee, Cary Benbow, Dale Bernstein, Ronald Andrew Buys, Matthew Carroll, Lauren Ditchley, Kyle Englert, Rebekah Gaillard, Carl Gay, Gant Haverstick, Claire Hegge, Chris Hill, Kris Hurst, Ana Jeftenic, Sarah Kercheval, Ron Kern, Jared Landberg, Anthony Lawson, Eric Lubrick, Rochelle Martin, Benjamin Martinkus, Tami Mohs, Amelia Morris, Asli Narin, Steve Nyktas, Jessica Paullus, Sarah Pfohl, Heak Pheary, Thurman Pursley, Steve Redman, Jacinda Russell, Mark Sawrie, Darrell Staggs, Adam Starr, Radie Steiner. Information for Participating Artists
If accepted for exhibition, work must be delivered to Gallery 924 on October 28th or 29th, 9am to 5pm, and if not sold must be picked up Monday, November 25th through Wednesday, November 27th, 9am to 5pm.
Artwork will be insured by the gallery for the entirety of the time it is in the gallery. 2D work must be framed (if appropriate), wired, and ready to hang. There are no size restrictions on artwork. If your large-scale work is accepted into the show, Gallery 924 staff will work with you to find a display solution.
The exhibition opening will be Friday, November 1st from 6–9 p.m.
Please note that Gallery 924 and Aurora PhotoCenter will split a 25% commission on all artwork sold in the gallery.
