Aurora PhotoCenter has a photobook library of over 300+ titles that are available to members and the general public for enjoyment and research in the facility. At this time, no book check-outs are possible.

We are currently in the process of organizing and cataloging the photobook library. An online, searchable catalog of the collection will be available shortly. In the meantime, please email Aurora at info@auroraphoto.org for research inquiries or the availability of specific books.

The core of Aurora’s photobook library comes from the teaching library of Lamar Richcreek (1947-2018), who was a fine art photographer and a full-time instructor of photography and lab manager at Herron School of Art and Design on the IUPUI campus for 20 years. Lamar lived his life modeling his values for lifelong learning, an appreciation for people of all types and cultures, the power of the arts and the importance of integrity and respect for all. It is an honor to have him present in our space through this library.

Our photobook library continues to grow through purchases and donations by community members. Please email info@auroraphoto.org for details on how to donate your phonebooks to Aurora PhotoCenter’s library.
